Danpower Baltic, the largest independent heat producer in Lithuania, sold to Groupe IDEX

Superia acted as sole financial adviser to the selling shareholders in the sale of 90% shareholding in Danpower Baltic to Groupe IDEX, backed by Antin Infrastructure Partners

Danpower Baltic is the leading independent heat producer in Lithuania. In the last five years, Danpower Baltic has invested around EUR 100 million in renewable heat and energy projects. The company, which operates six biomass boilers including a cogeneration plant, is today the largest independent producer of heat in Lithuania.

Groupe IDEX, backed by Antin Infrastructure Partners, completed the acquisition of 90% of Danpower Baltic, a major player in the supply of heat in Lithuania, from a subsidiary of Enercity AG, one of the largest German energy companies, and GECO Investicijos, a Lithuanian investment fund specialized in renewable energy. GECO Investicijos will remain a 10% shareholder of Danpower Baltic, which will be renamed as Idex Baltic. Superia Corporate Finance acted as financial adviser to the selling shareholders.
